- Regeneron expanded its Sanofi antibody alliance with a 1.0 billion US dollar upfront payment and potential milestones.
- The company expects an FDA decision on cemdisiran next month and plans further pipeline updates in November.
- Pasatru received FDA approval for fibrodysplasia ossificans progressiva earlier in 2026.
Regeneron reported a strong third quarter on Friday, October 30, 2026, as revenue increased 36 percent year over year to 5.1 billion US dollars. The company also expanded its antibody collaboration with Sanofi, adding four next-generation, long-acting antibodies. These figures and terms come from Regeneron's investor release.
Growth across key medicines
Dupixent global net sales, recorded by Sanofi, rose 35 percent to 6.5 billion US dollars. Regeneron's US sales of EYLEA HD increased 62 percent to 699 million US dollars, while Libtayo global sales climbed 51 percent to 550 million US dollars.
GAAP diluted earnings per share increased 35 percent to 18.45 US dollars. Non-GAAP diluted earnings per share rose 70 percent to 20.07 US dollars. Management attributed the stronger collaboration revenue partly to higher profits from antibody commercialization and the repayment of the Sanofi Development Balance at the end of the second quarter.
Sanofi deal adds future milestones
The expanded Sanofi alliance provides Regeneron with a 1.0 billion US dollar upfront payment, which the company expects to recognize as collaboration revenue in the fourth quarter of 2026. Regeneron may receive up to an additional 7.0 billion US dollars in development, regulatory and sales-based milestones. The partners will share development and commercialization costs and future profits equally for the new programs if they reach the market.
Pipeline milestones ahead
Regeneron expects an FDA decision on cemdisiran in generalized myasthenia gravis next month. The company also plans to present interim data on its CIDEB program and report results from a Phase 2 study of baloncibart at meetings in November 2026.
Earlier in October, Regeneron agreed with the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority to supply additional Inmazeb doses to the US government from 2027 through 2031. The agreement supports national preparedness against Ebola and adds a further contracted supply program to the company's commercial outlook.
