What has changed since our last report
Petrobras stock traded at 17.35 euros on Lang & Schwarz at 17:10 CET on Thursday, November 5, 2026. That was 1.87 percent below the 17.68-euro quote cited in the latest relevant report published earlier that day at 14:38 CET. This comparison is separate from the daily Xetra performance.
Petrobras attributed the production increase to its highest efficiency in eight years, the ramp-up of the P-78 and P-79 floating production, storage and offloading units at Búzios, peak output from the Alexandre de Gusmão unit at Mero and lower losses from maintenance shutdowns. Twelve new producing wells started during the quarter.
Offshore projects set the next milestones
Total operated production, including volumes attributable to partners, reached a record 5.08 million barrels of oil equivalent per day. Operated pre-salt production climbed to 4.46 million barrels of oil equivalent per day, while Petrobras' own pre-salt oil production rose 6.7 percent from the previous quarter to 2.454 million barrels per day.
The Alexandre de Gusmão unit reached its design capacity of 180,000 barrels per day in August and a peak of 190,000 barrels per day in September. The Sepetiba FPSO reached a daily peak of 212,000 barrels, while Almirante Tamandaré at Búzios set a monthly record of 263,000 barrels per day in July.
The P-80 and P-82 platforms left a shipyard in Singapore in September and October and are scheduled to begin operations at Búzios in 2027. Each unit is designed for 225,000 barrels per day of oil production and 12 million cubic meters per day of gas compression.
