Novo Nordisk said on Thursday, October 29, that it will present new research from its obesity portfolio at ObesityWeek 2026. The company will bring findings across clinical development, real-world treatment and pediatric research to the conference in Washington, D.C., from November 14 to 17, according to a Novo Nordisk announcement.
The program includes the primary results of REDEFINE 9, which studies lower doses of the investigational treatment CagriSema in adults with overweight or obesity. Novo also plans post-hoc analyses from REDEFINE 1, including research into changes in weight-related quality of life. CagriSema is not approved in the United States or elsewhere, and its safety and efficacy remain unestablished.
Wegovy research broadens the agenda
Wegovy-related presentations will examine treatment preferences among older and younger adults, real-world use through telehealth and changes in food noise. The company also plans to discuss outcomes among people starting oral semaglutide through a digital patient-support program. These studies could give investors more detail on how treatment experience develops beyond headline weight-loss results.
Novo will additionally present full results from STEP Young, a study of once-weekly investigational semaglutide injection combined with a reduced-calorie diet and increased physical activity in children aged 6 to under 12 with obesity. The research remains investigational for this age group.
