- L&T Technology Services will support Nokia engineering and research work in India under a five-year agreement.
- The planned program covers 5G networks, software, intelligent automation and AI infrastructure.
- Nokia kept its comparable operating profit outlook but reduced its free cash flow conversion assumption.
Nokia's latest investor focus combines a new India engineering partnership with a markedly lower quote than in the previous report. L&T Technology Services said on October 26, 2026, that it had established a five-year contract to support Nokia's engineering and research activities in India.
India expands Nokia's engineering base
Under the agreement, LTTS will support product engineering, software development, system integration and product support. The company also plans a dedicated Offshore Development Center in India and an engineering team for Nokia's global Technology Center.
The work is intended to cover 5G networks, intelligent automation, AI-driven operations and AI infrastructure. Morningstar, carrying the Business Wire release, reported that financial terms were not disclosed.
Growth outlook still carries cash pressure
The partnership adds to Nokia's push into connectivity and AI infrastructure, but it does not support a quantified revenue or earnings estimate. In its third-quarter report published on October 22, Nokia reported net sales of EUR 5.154 billion, up 10 percent year over year, while comparable operating profit reached EUR 605 million.
Nokia kept its 2026 comparable operating profit outlook at EUR 2.1 billion to EUR 2.6 billion. At the same time, it reduced its free cash flow conversion assumption to 35 percent to 55 percent and raised restructuring and associated charges to EUR 1.1 billion.
