Battery-swapping transaction
On September 27, 2026, NIO announced definitive agreements with Geely Holding Group involving NIO Power, NIO’s battery-swapping and charging subsidiary. Subject to regulatory clearances and other customary closing conditions, a Geely Holding Group subsidiary will subscribe for newly issued NIO Power equity using a battery-swapping business interest and RMB 640 million in cash. The transaction values NIO Power at an approximately RMB 16 billion post-money valuation.
