Micron Technology stock traded at 793.35 euros on Lang & Schwarz at 10:12 CET on Saturday, October 31, 2026. The week’s main business signal came from Bank of America, which maintained its buy rating after meetings with Micron executives.

Longer agreements improve visibility

In a report published on Monday, October 26, Bank of America said Micron was discussing supply and capacity agreements extending about five years beyond 2030, with negotiations for 2031 already under way. The bank said the arrangements cover memory bit volumes and related financial commitments and could give Micron greater visibility into future demand and production requirements.

According to the Bank of America report carried by Yahoo Finance, Micron expects roughly 35% of total sales to be covered by such agreements and has a longer-term objective of raising that proportion to 50% by 2030. The commitments may support planning, but they do not remove execution and demand risks for a cyclical memory manufacturer.

Roadmap keeps execution in focus

The meetings also covered high-bandwidth memory, DRAM and NAND development. Micron expects 1-delta DRAM volume production in the second half of 2027 and is targeting more than 400 layers for its G11 NAND design by the end of that year. The company has not supplied additional production or financial targets for G11 in the information reported by Bank of America.

Bank of America also reported that Micron intends to increase share repurchases using free cash flow beginning December 9. The company has approximately 35 billion dollars in authorized repurchases, while the bank's 2027 and 2028 free-cash-flow estimates are its own projections rather than company guidance.
