Mahindra hits 52-week low. Mahindra stock stands 27.50 percent below its high.
Published on 10/08/2026 at 11:06 | Editorial responsibility: Rafael Müller, Editor-in-Chief AD HOC NEWSMahindra and Mahindra (ISIN INE101A01026) reached a 52-week low of INR 2,781 on October 8, 2026, or 27.50 percent below its 52-week high of INR 3,840, according to MarketsMojo. The decline came as the company prepared for its next results meeting on November 5, 2026.
Profit growth contrasts with the sell-off
Mahindra's consolidated revenue rose 28.00 percent year over year to INR 58,188 crore in the first quarter of fiscal 2027, while consolidated profit after tax increased 34.00 percent to INR 5,455 crore from INR 4,083 crore in the year-ago quarter, according to Bajaj Finserv.
The profit comparison needs a qualification. A INR 641.33 crore gain from the sale of an investment in an associate supported the reported Q1 FY27 result, so consolidated growth was not solely a measure of recurring operating performance, the same report said.
Vehicles and tractors supplied the operating base
Vehicle volumes increased 23.00 percent year over year to 304,421 units in Q1 FY27, while consolidated automobile revenue rose 32.00 percent to INR 34,387 crore, according to Bajaj Finserv. Tractor volumes also grew 18.00 percent to 158,041 units, but the standalone farm profit-before-interest-and-tax margin declined to 18.50 percent from 19.80 percent in the year-ago quarter.
That mix explains why the earnings picture is stronger than the market signal. Revenue, vehicle sales and consolidated profit all advanced on a year-over-year basis, while operating-margin pressure and the investment gain leave investors with two different measures of Q1 quality.
Next results date is November 5
The National Stock Exchange lists November 5, 2026, for Mahindra and Mahindra's next financial-results meeting. The scheduled date gives the market a clear test for whether volume growth, recurring profit and margins can support the operating progress reported for Q1 FY27.
On October 8, 2026, the stock's NSE and BSE market marker was INR 2,781, the 52-week low, while the 52-week high stood at INR 3,840. The contrast between the 27.50 percent high gap and Q1 FY27 consolidated profit growth of 34.00 percent is the central investor question.
