Autonomous mobile robot
Jungheinrich said the EAC 212a was developed for automated pallet transport and connects goods receipt, warehousing, production and dispatch. The robot can connect floor storage locations, conveyor systems, automated storage and retrieval systems, and production and packaging equipment, the company said in its press release.
The company also said the solution is designed for integration into existing operating environments and can be expanded with additional vehicles, process areas and connections to broader automation systems. Jungheinrich said the EAC 212a already includes functions developed for the EAE 212a, including automated pallet storage and retrieval in block storage areas and software for handling disruptions.
