Iveco Group reported higher revenue but sharply lower profitability for the third quarter on Tuesday, November 3, 2026. In the company's third-quarter results release, consolidated revenue increased 1.4 percent year over year to EUR 3.158 billion, while adjusted EBIT dropped to EUR 30 million from EUR 111 million.

Quality Costs Weigh On Margins

Industrial Activities revenue rose 1.5 percent to EUR 3.091 billion, supported by higher European volumes and favorable foreign-exchange effects. Adjusted EBIT for the division was nil, compared with EUR 76 million a year earlier, as Iveco cited its continued quality focus, unfavorable product mix, Truck net pricing and inflation.

Adjusted net income turned to a loss of EUR 32 million from income of EUR 40 million in the comparable quarter. Industrial Activities free cash flow was negative EUR 656 million, compared with negative EUR 513 million a year earlier, while available liquidity stood at EUR 3.713 billion at September 30.

Business Units Send Mixed Signals

Truck revenue increased 4.5 percent to EUR 2.099 billion, but adjusted EBIT declined to EUR 10 million from EUR 59 million. Bus revenue fell 5.6 percent to EUR 679 million, with adjusted EBIT dropping to EUR 5 million from EUR 29 million. Powertrain revenue rose 8.7 percent to EUR 810 million, while adjusted EBIT decreased to EUR 24 million from EUR 38 million.

Iveco Group stock traded at 14.38 euros on Lang & Schwarz at 17:06 CET on Thursday, November 5, 2026.

Management expects profitability to recover in the fourth quarter of 2026 despite weaker light commercial vehicle demand, macroeconomic uncertainty, adverse product mix and continuing quality initiatives. The company also expects solid industrial free cash flow in the final quarter, in line with normal seasonality.

Following completion of the tender offer, Iveco Group is now part of Tata Motors. Investors will focus on whether the expected fourth-quarter recovery improves margins and cash generation.
