Due to strong customer demand the company has extended its existing AI platform with drone recognition capabilities. In 2025, tms started to work on a rocket propelled counter-UAS interceptor. Both developments were combined into one system which is now called perdix. Since then, the companies have jointly developed a technology demonstrator to function as a counter-UAS system. Perdix-PX75-in-Basestation perdix will be unveiled in September 2026 at the EUDEX trade show in Essen. The scalable system comprises a base station that detects and tracks drones using sophisticated AI controlled sensors and a smart effector. This kinetic impact interceptor PX75 is also equipped with sensors to counter low flying attack drones. perdix aims at constituting a crucial part of a layered air defense capability. The perdix system (https://perdix-defense.de ) including its PX75 smart effectors addresses current military customers’ needs as it provides a cost-effective solution for lowest tier air defense demands. In addition, irisnet offers its drone detection also to civil clients for the protection of critical infrastructure.
