- Equinix tested Honeywell Aerospace's Thermal Response Module for liquid-cooled artificial intelligence infrastructure.
- Chief Executive Officer Vimal Kapur is scheduled to join the RBC Capital Markets Global Industrials Conference on November 17.
- Honeywell's November newsletter highlighted stronger third-quarter growth, margin expansion and a raised 2026 outlook.
Honeywell stock entered the week with two new investor angles: an artificial intelligence cooling test at Equinix and a scheduled conference appearance by Chief Executive Officer Vimal Kapur. The developments broaden the industrial group's exposure to data-center infrastructure while putting management execution back on the agenda.
Cooling technology reaches data centers
Equinix tested and installed Honeywell Aerospace's Thermal Response Module at its Co-Innovation Facility in Ashburn, Virginia, according to IT Brief in a report published November 3. The module is designed to stabilize coolant temperatures for liquid-cooled AI servers during power disturbances and rapid changes in computing demand.
Honeywell says the system uses phase-change materials, can fit into existing cooling loops and can scale from edge deployments to larger AI clusters. The company also says it delivers 7.6 times more cooling power than chilled water and can provide several minutes of thermal buffering. Equinix said its testing addressed rapid GPU cooling-load changes and required a smaller footprint than buffer tanks.
CEO appearance sets next checkpoint
Honeywell announced on November 3 that Vimal Kapur will join the keynote session at the RBC Capital Markets Global Industrials Conference in New York on Tuesday, November 17, at 8:00 a.m. Eastern Time. The event is scheduled to be webcast through Honeywell's investor-relations website, with a replay available afterward.
Honeywell's November 6 investor newsletter also recapped the third quarter ended September 30. The company said organic sales grew 7%, segment margin reached 21.3% and adjusted earnings per share rose 34% to 2.27 United States dollars. Free cash flow increased 15% to 688 million United States dollars, while backlog approached 19 billion United States dollars.
The newsletter said Honeywell raised its 2026 outlook for organic growth, adjusted earnings per share and free cash flow. It also highlighted progress toward removing stranded portfolio-transformation costs by year-end and reducing gross leverage below three times by year-end.
