The company confirmed its 2026 forecast for result from current operations of 3.40 billion to 3.65 billion euros and expects return on invested capital to remain slightly above 10 percent. What the quarterly beat changes
Morningstar, carrying a Dow Jones report, said the quarterly result exceeded the company's consensus estimate. It cited revenue of 6.41 billion euros and result from current operations before depreciation and amortization of 1.62 billion euros, above the respective expectations of 6.19 billion euros and 1.57 billion euros. The report also noted that the savings expansion is intended to mitigate inflation and support margins.
The operating picture is not uniformly positive. Heidelberg Materials said energy and logistics costs remain relevant to margins, while the company continues to rely on pricing, efficiency measures and portfolio growth to support profitability. For investors, the key question is whether the stronger operating trend can persist as cost pressure and construction demand vary by region.
