- Third-quarter organic revenue growth reached 5 percent, while Core EPS rose 14 percent at constant currency.
- The company expanded its biosimilars pipeline agreement with WuXi Biologics to up to 37 potential candidates.
- Investors now turn to execution against the higher margin outlook and the planned Biopharma expansion.
Fresenius delivered stronger third-quarter operating results on Wednesday, November 4, and raised key elements of its 2026 outlook. The update gives investors a fresh earnings benchmark after the healthcare group entered the report with expectations already focused on Kabi, Helios and Biopharma.
Fresenius said third-quarter organic revenue growth reached 5 percent, while EBIT before special items rose to 638 million euros at constant currency. The group EBIT margin expanded by 50 basis points to 11.0 percent, and Core EPS increased 14 percent at constant currency to 0.72 euros.
Reuters reported that Fresenius now expects 2026 constant-currency Core EPS growth in the upper half of its 10 percent to 15 percent range. The Group EBIT margin indication was raised to above 11.5 percent from around 11.5 percent previously. Organic revenue growth guidance remains 4 percent to 7 percent.
Biopharma expands its growth platform
Fresenius Kabi's Growth Vectors contributed strongly, led by Biopharma. The company also highlighted an exclusive development agreement with WuXi Biologics that gives it access to up to 37 potential first-to-market biosimilar candidates. The portfolio could expand from 29 marketed and pipeline molecules to as many as 66 over the next decade, although each candidate must still be selected and advanced individually.
Fresenius stock traded at 51.19 euros on Lang & Schwarz at 6:16 p.m. CET on Wednesday, November 4, 0.37 percent below the Xetra close of Wednesday, November 4. The quote was 4.98 percent above the 48.76 euros cited in the previous relevant report at 12:30 p.m. CET on November 3.
For investors, the raised margin indication improves the near-term earnings frame, while the pipeline agreement broadens the longer-term Biopharma opportunity. The next focus is whether Kabi's Growth Vectors and Helios can sustain operating momentum as temporary support effects in the hospital business expire.
