FedEx stock traded at 285.35 euros on Lang & Schwarz at 17:04 CET on Monday, November 2, 2026, 0.37 percent above the Xetra close of Friday, October 30, 2026 at 284.30 euros. The quote was 1.57 percent above the 280.95 euros cited in the previous report at 07:53 CET the same day.
FedEx's third-quarter release on October 28 showed stronger adjusted operating performance and a higher full-year forecast. Adjusted diluted earnings per share reached USD 3.74, up from USD 2.93.
Higher forecast, mixed cost picture
FedEx raised its calendar-2026 revenue-growth forecast to approximately 12 percent from approximately 11 percent. Adjusted diluted earnings guidance moved to USD 18.00 to USD 18.60 per share from USD 16.90 to USD 18.10, putting the midpoint at USD 18.30.
Higher package base yields, stronger volumes and structural cost reductions supported the quarter. FedEx also cited increased purchased-transportation rates, wage and variable-compensation expenses, and the financial impact of global trade-policy changes as offsets. The adjusted figures exclude, among other items, a USD 1.2 billion loss on the retained FedEx Freight investment.
Capital returns and next operating test
FedEx completed USD 2 billion in share repurchases between June and September, buying approximately 6.3 million shares. The company said USD 4.3 billion remained available under its 2026 authorization at September 30.
FedEx plans an average parcel-shipping rate increase of 5.9 percent from January 4, 2027. For investors, the peak shipping season will test whether pricing, volume and network savings can offset transportation and labor costs.
