Stabroek block reaches milestone
ExxonMobil said the milestone was reached less than seven years after first production began in December 2019. Production from four offshore developments has increased installed capacity in the block to more than 900,000 barrels per day, the company said in its September 28, 2026 publication linked above.
The company also said Uaru is expected to start up by the end of 2026. Construction is underway on the Whiptail and Hammerhead projects, targeted for startup in 2027 and 2029, respectively, according to ExxonMobil.
