EVN sets EUR 1 billion plan as Baader keeps Add for EVN stock
Published on 10/07/2026 at 10:25 | Editorial responsibility: Rafael Müller, Editor-in-Chief AD HOC NEWSEVN (ISIN AT0000741053) stock was trading at EUR 28.63 at Lang & Schwarz on October 7, 2026 at 10:13 a.m. CEST, down 0.52 percent versus the prior close of EUR 28.78. At its October 1 Capital Markets Day, EVN presented a EUR 1.00 billion annual investment plan through 2030, while Börse Social reported on October 2 that Baader Bank kept its Add rating and EUR 33.20 price target for EVN stock.
EUR 1 billion plan reaches 2030
According to EQS News on October 1, EVN plans to direct the annual EUR 1.00 billion investment program into grid infrastructure, renewable generation, storage, charging infrastructure and digital systems.
The same Capital Markets Day release sets a battery-storage target of 300 MW by 2030. That figure gives the strategy a measurable operating dimension beyond the headline investment amount.
Profit targets meet a stronger network business
Handelsblatt reported on October 1 that EVN targets EBITDA of EUR 1.20 billion by 2030 and expects a consolidated profit of EUR 470.00 million to EUR 490.00 million for fiscal 2025/26.
In the first nine months of fiscal 2025/26, EBITDA rose 4.90 percent to EUR 748.50 million, according to Handelsblatt. The comparison matters because the network business offset weaker weather-dependent generation from wind and hydropower.
Baader sees EUR 33.20 target
Baader Bank's EUR 33.20 target is EUR 4.57 above the Lang & Schwarz price, equivalent to 15.96 percent above EUR 28.63. Börse Social said on October 2 that the bank viewed the unchanged dividend policy as the main disappointment, citing a planned payout ratio of 40.00 percent.
The dividend framework remains part of the investment case: EVN indicated at the Capital Markets Day that the payout for fiscal 2025/26 should be at least EUR 0.90 per share, with a goal of at least EUR 1.10 per share by fiscal 2029/30, as Handelsblatt reported on October 1.
Stock remains below its yearly high
EVN's Lang & Schwarz price of EUR 28.63 stood between the 52-week low of EUR 23.35 and high of EUR 30.45 on October 7, 2026. The next scheduled milestone is EVN's annual results for fiscal 2025/26 on December 17, 2026, according to the company's investor-relations calendar.
