EQT has raised its fundraising ambition for the current cycle after completing the Coller Capital combination, giving investors a new operating milestone to track. Management now expects to raise EUR 140 billion during the cycle, up from the previous EUR 100 billion outlook.
The change was discussed in EQT's October 15 Q3 announcement and earnings call. In the call, CEO and Managing Partner Per Franzén linked the higher outlook to Coller's addition and continued investor demand across the platform. The EQT earnings call transcript also states that the revised outlook excludes Stockbridge, leaving potential upside from that transaction outside the current target.
Coller adds scale to fundraising
EQT's Q3 announcement said the Coller Capital combination closed on August 31, 2026, with the business now operating as Coller EQT. Fee-generating assets under management reached EUR 195 billion at September 30, while total assets under management stood at EUR 354 billion. Coller contributed EUR 34 billion to the increase in fee-generating assets after consolidation.
Scaleup Europe had secured more than EUR 3 billion against a EUR 5 billion target. EQT XI is expected to activate within the next few months, while Infrastructure VII is expected to activate around year-end and hold an early close in December. Fundraising for Scaleup Europe is expected to continue into the first half of 2027.
Execution becomes the next test
EQT stock traded at 28.53 euros on Lang & Schwarz at 17:51 CET on Tuesday, November 3, 2026; investors can follow the real-time quote of EQT stock as fundraising and fund activation progress.
For investors, the higher target improves the growth framework but also raises the importance of converting commitments into fee-generating assets. The timing of EQT XI and Infrastructure VII, together with demand for Scaleup Europe, will provide the next measurable indicators.
