Elbit Systems will use Euronaval 2026 to present its unmanned underwater vehicle capabilities for the first time. The Paris naval defense exhibition runs from November 3 to 6, giving the Israeli defense technology group a near-term platform to outline its expanded maritime offering.

The company announced the presentation on October 29 in its official Euronaval announcement. The new capabilities entered the portfolio after Elbit Systems acquired International Submarine Engineering, a provider of autonomous underwater systems.

Underwater systems broaden naval offering

Elbit Systems said ISE has delivered more than 250 underwater vehicles to customers in over 20 countries. Its UUV portfolio includes modular autonomous underwater vehicles for intelligence gathering, mine countermeasures, anti-submarine warfare, seabed mapping and protection of critical maritime infrastructure.

The systems are designed to support long-endurance autonomous missions and can integrate sonars, intelligence and surveillance systems and other mission-specific sensors. Elbit Systems plans to show the UUV solutions alongside its Seagull family of unmanned surface vessels and other naval technologies, highlighting coordinated operations above and below the water.

The acquisition therefore extends the company's maritime autonomy proposition beyond surface platforms. For investors, the exhibition offers an early opportunity to assess how Elbit Systems presents the acquired technology to naval customers and whether the combined portfolio can support future program opportunities. The public presentation does not by itself establish a contract award or financial impact.

Israel's defense sector will be in focus alongside the broader TA-35 market during the exhibition week.
