The IT Voice report says Dell's new PowerProtect identity resilience capabilities can restore clean copies of Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID and Okta environments. Dell Managed Detection and Response for Identity adds monitoring for suspicious authentication activity, compromised accounts and privilege misuse.
Security tools extend Dell's AI offer
Dell also introduced Security Hardening for Dell AI Factory, which assesses physical, virtual and application layers for configuration risks affecting AI workloads. Resilience Operations for AI helps customers identify critical AI capabilities and establish recovery procedures, while an expanded PowerProtect AI Assistant adds risk briefs and a human approval step before actions are taken.
PowerProtect integration with PowerScale is intended to automate retention-locked snapshots and provide additional recovery copies through Dell ObjectScale. The latest PowerStore software is set to add quantum-safe data-in-transit encryption over Fibre Channel on supported PowerEdge configurations.
