CrowdStrike's latest weekly developments put the company's AI security strategy under closer scrutiny. On October 28, CrowdStrike released a report on cyber threats targeting the legal sector, while Bank of America raised its price target two days earlier.

Law firms emerge as high-value targets

The CrowdStrike report, released on October 28, said financially motivated adversaries accounted for 82 percent of observed malicious activity against the legal sector. The report also said CHATTY SPIDER activity increased 129 percent in the first eight months of 2026.

The findings received wider attention on October 30. The ABA Journal reported that cyber adversaries named 455 legal entities as hacking targets between August 2025 and August 2026, up 39 percent from the prior year. The report strengthens the case for security platforms covering endpoints, identities and cloud environments, but it does not by itself establish a corresponding revenue gain.

Analyst target rises before results

Bank of America raised its CrowdStrike price target from 260 to 290 US dollars on October 26 while maintaining a Neutral rating, according to Markets Insider. The analyst cited the long-term importance of cybersecurity spending but said further valuation expansion would require sustained growth and stronger free cash flow.

CrowdStrike is scheduled to report third-quarter results on December 1. Investors will focus on whether demand for AI detection and response products supports new annual recurring revenue growth as the company approaches that report.

CrowdStrike stock traded at 224.43 euros on Lang & Schwarz at 10:12 a.m. CET on Saturday, October 31. The real-time quote of CrowdStrike stock is available separately.
