Following completion, mycar Tyre & Auto is expected to remain a distribution partner for Continental tires in Australia. The sale remains subject to regulatory approvals, according to the company announcement.
Ultra-high-performance tires
In a separate September 16, 2026 announcement, Continental said it would add more than 650 ultra-high-performance tire sizes across its product lines by the end of 2027. The company reported that these tires accounted for 62 percent of Continental-brand passenger-car tire sales in 2025, compared with 49 percent in 2020, according to the Continental release.
