- The initiative extends Compass Group's technology strategy beyond contract food services.
Compass Group launched AirisOne on Monday, November 2, 2026, as an AI-powered managed services platform for facilities operators. Facilities Dive reported the launch on November 3 and said the platform is designed to simplify the management of building operations.
AirisOne brings together data from work orders, asset management, inspections and other operational systems. It also links facilities operators with Compass support and third-party vendors through a marketplace covering services such as heating and cooling maintenance, commercial kitchen support, energy management and audiovisual operations.
Technology broadens the service model
The platform targets operators in education, manufacturing, data centers and other sectors. Saima Khan, senior vice president of Compass Digital, said the system gives operators a more connected view of their operations and helps identify issues that require attention.
Payman Khania, chief executive of Compass Support Services, described AirisOne as a way to combine Compass Group's scale, operating expertise and purchasing power with a technology stack and marketplace. According to the company statement cited by Facilities Dive, artificial intelligence analyzes data from across the platform to help teams prevent disruptions and deliver more consistent outcomes.
The launch adds a technology and facilities-services angle to Compass Group's established contract food-service business. Facilities Dive reported that the group is also using artificial intelligence in sports and leisure locations to support kiosk sales and is expanding its work with data-center owners and operators. Those initiatives could give the group additional ways to use its operating capabilities outside traditional catering, although the report did not provide financial targets for AirisOne.
