- Third-quarter volume reached a record after rising across all operations.
- Currency-neutral revenue growth exceeded reported growth as operating income advanced faster than sales.
- Management pointed to market-share gains, geographic diversification and stronger South American performance.
Coca-Cola FEMSA reported broad-based growth for the third quarter on October 26, 2026, with volume rising across all operations and consolidated revenue advancing at a double-digit rate. In its third-quarter results release, the bottler said revenue increased 10.9 percent year over year, while currency-neutral growth reached 11.3 percent.
Consolidated volume increased 5.3 percent to 1,089.8 million unit cases, marking a record third quarter for the company. Operating income grew 15.4 percent, or 16.4 percent on a currency-neutral basis. Majority net income rose 5.5 percent, as stronger operating performance was partly offset by a higher comprehensive financial result.
Record volume supports sales growth
Coca-Cola FEMSA said its revenue performance reflected higher volume and revenue growth management initiatives. Unfavorable mix and negative currency translation effects limited the reported increase, but the underlying currency-neutral figure remained in double digits.
The company reported growth across its geographic operations. South America was a particular contributor, with volume up 6.0 percent to 448.3 million unit cases and revenue up 14.7 percent. In Mexico, management said revenue growth management helped sustain a strong competitive position despite challenging consumer conditions.
Chief Executive Officer Ian Craig said the company continued to gain market share during the quarter. He also pointed to the balance of Coca-Cola FEMSA's geographic footprint and described the performance in Brazil and Colombia as important drivers of double-digit operating-income growth in South America.
Nine-month trend remains positive
For the first nine months of 2026, volume increased 3.4 percent and revenue rose 6.2 percent. Currency-neutral revenue growth was 10.4 percent, while operating income advanced 8.0 percent, or 11.9 percent on a currency-neutral basis. Majority net income increased 2.7 percent over the period.
Coca-Cola FEMSA also paid the third installment of its ordinary dividend on October 13, 2026. The distribution was Ps. 0.241875 per share and formed part of a total cash distribution of Ps. 4,065.1 million.
What the figures mean for investors
The combination of volume gains, pricing and revenue-management measures gives the quarter a stronger operating profile than revenue growth alone suggests. Currency effects and product mix remain factors to monitor because they can widen the gap between reported and underlying growth.
