Third-quarter operating momentum

Revenue reached 6.17 billion US dollars in the three months ended September 30, up 39 percent from 4.44 billion US dollars a year earlier. Consolidated Adjusted EBITDA increased 18 percent to 1.90 billion US dollars from 1.61 billion US dollars, while net income attributable to Cheniere rose 12 percent to 1.17 billion US dollars.

Operational volumes also advanced. Cheniere exported 188 LNG cargoes, compared with 163 in the prior-year quarter, and loaded 685 trillion British thermal units, up 17 percent. Management attributed the earnings improvement to higher volumes recognized in income and stronger margins per million British thermal units delivered.

Higher cash-flow outlook

Cheniere raised its 2026 Consolidated Adjusted EBITDA guidance to 8.75 billion to 9.25 billion US dollars from 7.90 billion to 8.40 billion US dollars. The company also lifted its distributable cash flow range to 6.05 billion to 6.55 billion US dollars from 5.30 billion to 5.80 billion US dollars.

The company said the improved outlook followed the completion of Corpus Christi Stage 3, continued debottlenecking and commercial progress. Cheniere maintained its 2026 production expectation at 53 million to 54 million tonnes and introduced a preliminary 2027 range of 56 million to 58 million tonnes during its earnings discussion.

Capital returns and expansion

The board declared a quarterly cash dividend of 0.625 US dollars per common share. The payment is scheduled for November 17 to shareholders of record at the close of business on November 9. Cheniere also repurchased approximately 2.8 million shares for about 731 million US dollars during the quarter and invested roughly 740 million US dollars in growth capital.

Management highlighted the substantial completion of the seventh Corpus Christi train ahead of schedule and within budget, as well as the export of Cheniere's 5,000th LNG cargo. The company also disclosed long-term QatarEnergy agreements covering up to 4 million tonnes per annum from the early 2030s through 2054, subject to the stated project conditions.
