Q3 momentum reshapes Capgemini outlook

  • AI transformation demand supported growth, particularly in North America and the United Kingdom.
  • The company kept its operating margin and organic free cash flow targets unchanged.

Capgemini reported strong third-quarter momentum on Friday, October 30, 2026, and raised its full-year revenue growth target for the second time this year. In its Q3 2026 revenue release, the French technology and consulting group said revenue reached 6,073 million euros, up 12.6 percent on reported exchange rates and 11.7 percent at constant exchange rates from the year-earlier quarter.

The result extended the group's growth streak and led management to lift its 2026 constant-currency revenue growth target to 9.0 to 9.5 percent, from the previous range of about 8.5 to 9.0 percent. Capgemini maintained its operating margin target of 13.6 to 13.8 percent and its organic free cash flow target of 1.8 to 1.9 billion euros.

AI demand broadens the growth base

Chief Executive Officer Aiman Ezzat said clients were moving from AI experimentation toward enterprise-scale deployment. That transition is increasing demand for modernized technology and data foundations, as well as for business operations redesigned around agentic AI.

Bookings rose 3.4 percent at constant exchange rates to 5,401 million euros. The slower order growth compared with revenue highlights a point investors will continue to watch: the near-term sales advance is strong, but the bookings trend will determine how much of that momentum carries into later periods.

Operations and Engineering was the fastest-growing business, with revenue up 26.9 percent at constant exchange rates. Strategy and Transformation grew 18.6 percent, while Applications and Technology, the core business and 63 percent of 2025 group revenue, advanced 3.5 percent. The figures point to a favorable mix shift toward AI-related transformation and operational services, although the core applications business is expanding more slowly.

North America and UK lead regions

North America revenue increased 18.3 percent at constant exchange rates, supported by Financial Services, Manufacturing and Consumer Goods and Retail. Revenue in the United Kingdom and Ireland rose 25.2 percent, helped by the Public Sector and Consumer Goods and Retail. France returned to growth of 4.9 percent, driven by Manufacturing and Financial Services, while the Public Sector remained weak.

Capgemini expects constant-currency growth of 3 to 4 percent in the fourth quarter on a higher comparison base. Management said the slower expected pace reflects the annualization of acquisitions completed in the fourth quarter of 2025, notably WNS and Cloud4C, rather than a deterioration in demand. The group had 417,500 employees on September 30, 2026, up 18 percent year on year, primarily because of the WNS integration.

The real-time quote of Capgemini stock was 126.20 euros on Lang & Schwarz at 10:00:57 CET on Friday, October 30, 2026.
