BUX closes 1.28 percent higher as OTP leads Budapest rally

OTP and MOL lead blue chips
OTP Bank rose 1.89 percent to HUF 41,470, while MOL gained 1.51 percent to HUF 5,055, according to Privatbankar. Richter advanced 0.57 percent, while Magyar Telekom fell 0.23 percent. OTP generated HUF 26.1 billion in turnover and MOL generated HUF 4.1 billion.
The Budapest Stock Exchange's total equity-market turnover reached HUF 32.5 billion. Portfolio said Opus was the strongest mid-cap, rising 2.5 percent, while Granit Bank was the weakest, falling 2.9 percent.
