- Preliminary third-quarter business volume and earnings before tax increased despite a high prior-year base.
- Bechtle raised its EBT growth target while leaving business-volume and revenue targets unchanged.
- The company will publish final third-quarter and nine-month figures on November 13.
Bechtle raised its 2026 earnings outlook on Thursday, November 5, after preliminary third-quarter figures showed continued momentum despite a high prior-year base. The company said business volume increased by around 19 percent to approximately 2.44 billion euros, while earnings before tax rose by around 14 percent to approximately 92 million euros. The figures were published in an ad hoc announcement carried by Placera and transmitted by EQS News.
EBT target moves above ten percent
Bechtle now expects earnings before tax to grow by more than 10 percent in 2026. The previous target had called for EBT growth of 5 percent to 10 percent, making the change the main adjustment in the latest outlook.
The forecast for business volume remains at growth of more than 10 percent, while the revenue target stays at 5 percent to 10 percent. Bechtle also continues to expect EBT as a percentage of business volume to decline slightly from the prior-year level of 3.8 percent. The company last raised its full-year forecast on July 28, so the latest move is the second increase this year.
Order backlog supports near-term view
Bechtle said the strong development had continued into the fourth quarter and pointed to a record order backlog. That combination gives investors a visible operating indicator for the final quarter, although the preliminary figures still await confirmation in the full report.
The real-time quote of Bechtle stock traded at 35.76 euros on Lang & Schwarz at 15:59 Berlin time on Monday, October 26.
For investors, the upgraded EBT target improves the earnings trajectory while the unchanged revenue and business-volume forecasts point to a more selective improvement in profitability rather than a broad-based reset of all operating goals. The slightly lower expected EBT margin also remains a constraint on the outlook.
