ASM International reported a record third quarter on October 27 and raised its medium-term revenue outlook. The company said demand linked to artificial intelligence infrastructure, advanced logic and memory supported higher sales. Nasdaq published ASM's results release and reported that revenue reached EUR 1,159 million in the quarter.

ASM stock traded at 744.00 euros on Lang & Schwarz at 14:38 CEST on Friday, October 30, 2026. That is 1.81 percent below the EUR 757.70 quote cited in the October 28 report on the company's own news page, giving the current edition a fresh market development beyond the earlier coverage.

Record quarter lifts the outlook

Revenue increased 45 percent year over year as reported and 44 percent at constant currencies. Gross margin was 52.0 percent, while adjusted net earnings rose to EUR 315.4 million from EUR 206.2 million a year earlier.

ASM expects fourth-quarter revenue of EUR 1,230 million, plus or minus 5 percent, at constant currencies. For 2027, management projects revenue of more than EUR 5.7 billion at constant currencies, which would bring the revenue target set for 2030 at the 2025 Investor Day forward by three years.

The company said advanced logic and foundry should be the strongest growth driver in 2027, supported by further 2nm-related sales and momentum at 1.4nm. Memory demand, including investment related to high-bandwidth memory, also remained strong.

Buyback adds a capital-return angle

ASM's Management Board authorized a new share buyback program of up to EUR 300 million on October 27. The previous program, worth up to EUR 150 million, was completed on September 14 after 185,522 shares were repurchased at an average price of EUR 808.53. Details of the new program are due before it starts.
