Arista Networks heads into its third-quarter earnings release with a stronger revenue outlook but a higher bar for execution. In a report published Thursday, October 29, 24/7 Wall St. said investors will weigh AI networking demand, margins and supply conditions when the company reports on November 3.

Arista Networks stock traded at 157.82 euros on Lang & Schwarz at 10:39 CET on Friday, October 30, 2026; the real-time quote of Arista Networks stock is available here.

Record quarter raises expectations

Arista generated 3.04 billion US dollars of revenue in the second quarter, an increase of 37.7 percent from a year earlier, according to the 24/7 Wall St. report. Non-GAAP earnings per share reached 1.02 US dollars, ahead of the 0.89 US dollar consensus cited in the article.

The result marked Arista's first quarterly revenue above 3 billion US dollars. Management raised its fiscal 2026 revenue guidance to 12.6 billion US dollars from 11.5 billion US dollars in May, implying 40 percent growth. Deferred revenue rose to 6.9 billion US dollars, while purchase commitments reached 9.7 billion US dollars.

Margins and supply chain in focus

For the third quarter, management guided to revenue of about 3.3 billion US dollars, gross margin of about 63 percent and non-GAAP earnings per share of 1.06 to 1.08 US dollars. The report said the margin picture will be closely watched after second-quarter gross margin fell to 63.4 percent from 65.6 percent a year earlier, partly reflecting customer mix and tariff refunds.

Chief Executive Jayshree Ullal said price increases would help only toward the end of 2026 or in 2027 as memory and silicon costs rise. Management also expects Microsoft and Meta Platforms to anchor one or two customers accounting for at least 10 percent of revenue and warned that industry component shortages could persist until 2028.

AI networking remains the central growth theme. Arista has more than 100 cumulative Etherlink customers and targets at least 3.5 billion US dollars of AI fabrics revenue in 2026. The company also expects 1.6-terabit switches to enter trials in the second half of 2026, with production scheduled for 2027.

November 3 is the next catalyst

Arista will release results for the quarter ended September 30 after US markets close on Tuesday, November 3, according to the company's official announcement. Management will discuss the figures in a conference call at 4:30 p.m. Eastern Time.

The key investor question is whether supply-chain improvements are translating into shipments without undermining margins. A further outlook increase could support the growth case, while a result limited to existing guidance would leave the premium valuation more exposed to execution risk.

The S&P 500 market environment remains the broader benchmark for US-listed technology shares.
