Amrize lowered its full-year 2026 outlook after weather and cost inflation weighed on third-quarter performance. In its October 28 results release, the company reported higher revenue and net income but weaker operating momentum in key areas.
Revenue growth masks volume pressure
Revenue for the three months ended September 30 rose 2.2 percent year over year to USD 3.771 billion. Net income increased 3.3 percent to USD 558 million, while adjusted EBITDA edged up 0.2 percent to USD 1.076 billion. Adjusted EBITDA margin declined to 28.5 percent from 29.1 percent a year earlier.
Weather reduced cement volumes by 4.2 percent and aggregates volumes by 0.2 percent. In Building Envelope, adjusted EBITDA fell 14.6 percent to USD 182 million as higher freight and raw-material costs outweighed improved pricing and surcharges. Amrize said residential roofing demand was affected by a lack of significant storms and sluggish existing-home sales.
Lower outlook and shareholder returns
Amrize now expects 2026 revenue of USD 12.2 billion to USD 12.4 billion and adjusted EBITDA of USD 2.95 billion to USD 3.05 billion. The company cited continued cost inflation and elevated interest rates, while also saying price increases, surcharges and its ASPIRE savings program should support the fourth quarter.
Amrize completed its USD 1 billion share repurchase program on October 28. The board also declared a third-quarter dividend of USD 0.11 per share, payable on November 18, with the shares trading ex-dividend from November 10.
