Amplifon reported stronger profitability for the third quarter and the first nine months of 2026 in a press release updated on Thursday, October 29. The Italian hearing-care group said organic growth reached 3.6% in the quarter despite the highest comparison base of the year. The company also confirmed its 2026 outlook.

Adjusted EBITDA rose 7.0% in the third quarter, while the margin expanded by 90 basis points. Adjusted EBIT increased 21.9%, with the margin widening by 150 basis points to 9.1%. Adjusted net profit advanced 38.7%, according to Amplifon's results release.

Profitability improves across regions

For the first nine months, revenue reached 1,760.8 million euros, up 0.9% at constant exchange rates. Organic growth contributed 3.5%, while acquisitions added 0.7%. Amplifon said its Fit4Growth program reduced revenue by 3.3% as the group optimized its network and divested or ended dilutive activities.

Adjusted EBITDA rose 4.5% to 412.8 million euros, lifting the margin to 23.4%. Adjusted EBIT increased 11.5% to 222.0 million euros, and adjusted net profit gained 16.9% to 128.2 million euros. The company attributed the profitability improvement to operating leverage and the benefits of Fit4Growth, alongside continued investment in its business.

Cash flow and GN Hearing remain key

Cash generation strengthened materially. Adjusted free cash flow increased 138.6% to 79.1 million euros after capital expenditure of 64.3 million euros. Pro forma net financial debt stood at 1,052.8 million euros at September 30, excluding the proceeds from the equity raise intended to help finance the GN Hearing acquisition. Financial leverage improved to 1.85 times.

Chief Executive Enrico Vita said the quarterly performance confirmed a solid improvement in the group's results. He highlighted organic growth, operating leverage and Fit4Growth, while adding that planning for the integration of GN Hearing was progressing according to schedule ahead of closing.

Outlook stays unchanged

Amplifon continues to target organic revenue growth above 3% in 2026 and an increase in the adjusted EBITDA margin in the region of 100 basis points. For investors, the combination of resilient organic growth and expanding margins points to operating execution as the central focus for the remainder of the year. The GN Hearing transaction and its integration plans remain additional factors for the medium-term investment case.
