In its September 29 letter, Almonty said the first bags of tungsten concentrate at Sangdong were ready for export. The company also said the mill was running 13 hours a day, seven days a week, with plans to increase operations to 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Almonty said underground development for Phase II was progressing and that it was ordering equipment from Metso. The company expects Phase II to be completed in 2027, according to Business Wire.
