Almirall reported five-year lebrikizumab results from the ADlong study at the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology Congress on October 1, 2026, according to the company’s announcement.
ADlong study results
The Phase 3b open-label extension study evaluated long-term efficacy and safety in adults and adolescents with moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis. At week 108, 92.9 percent of patients achieved an EASI-75 response and 73.8 percent achieved EASI-90. The company also reported that 66.7 percent achieved clear or almost-clear skin and 78.0 percent reported a pruritus score of four or less.
Almirall said improvements in skin signs and itch observed at study entry were sustained through the week-108 assessment. The study provided participants with up to five years of continuous lebrikizumab exposure. The company reported that the safety profile over 108 weeks was consistent with previous studies and that no new safety signals were identified.
EADV 2026 program
Almirall said its scientific program at the congress included more than 20 abstracts covering atopic dermatitis, psoriasis and actinic keratosis, along with expert-led events and an interactive session focused on atopic dermatitis. The company is publicly traded on the Spanish Stock Exchange under ticker ALM.
