Airbus reported stronger nine-month operating results on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, while keeping its full-year targets unchanged. The company released the figures in its Airbus press release.

Growth meets a demanding final quarter

Revenue for the first nine months rose 7 percent year over year to 50.6 billion euros. Adjusted EBIT increased 8 percent to 4.495 billion euros, while reported EBIT reached 4.550 billion euros and net income climbed 36 percent to 3.587 billion euros.

Commercial aircraft deliveries reached 547 units, compared with 507 a year earlier. Net commercial aircraft orders rose to 1,105, and the backlog stood at 9,310 aircraft at the end of September.

The cumulative growth came with a softer third quarter. Revenue fell 2 percent to 17.469 billion euros, while adjusted EBIT declined 9 percent to 1.768 billion euros. Airbus attributed the pressure mainly to lower commercial aircraft deliveries, a less favorable mix and costs linked to integrating former Spirit AeroSystems work packages.

Targets remain tied to execution

Airbus retained its 2026 targets of around 870 commercial aircraft deliveries, adjusted EBIT of around 7.5 billion euros and free cash flow before customer financing of around 4.5 billion euros. Free cash flow before customer financing was negative 1.268 billion euros through September, reflecting working-capital effects, inventory build-up and planned business ramp-ups.

The real-time quote of Airbus stock was 200.90 euros on Lang & Schwarz at 18:07 CET on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, 3.36 percent above the 194.38 euros cited at 10:40 CET in the latest report and 0.12 percent above the Xetra close of Wednesday, November 4.

For investors, the unchanged outlook leaves delivery pace, production ramp-up and cash conversion as the central execution tests for the final quarter.
