Adyen announced on Monday, November 2, 2026, that Japanese eyewear retailer JINS HOLDINGS selected its platform for omnichannel payments. The company said the rollout will cover 150 Japanese locations from November, following an initial launch at JINS's Kichijoji flagship store in late September, according to Adyen.

Unified payments target Japanese retail

The project brings JINS's online and in-store transactions onto Adyen's single platform. The setup is intended to give the retailer a unified view of payment activity, support operational efficiency and improve customer journeys across sales channels.

Adyen's mobile payment solution with Tap to Pay on iPhone will allow JINS employees to complete consultations, product selection and payment on the sales floor. Customers can finish purchases after choosing frames and completing an eye examination without moving to a central register.

Expansion adds an enterprise deployment

JINS operates approximately 500 stores in Japan and has an expanding international footprint, the company said. Adyen's global payment infrastructure is intended to help JINS enter markets where the required payment services are supported without separate local integrations.

Adyen stock traded at 897.50 euros on Lang & Schwarz at 18:05 CET on Friday, November 6, 2026. Investors will focus on whether additional enterprise deployments translate into sustained payment volume and revenue growth. The JINS announcement did not disclose a financial contribution or a change to Adyen's financial outlook.
