Quaestor Financial Consultancy Corporation, the parent company of the Quaestor Group, was established in Hungary in 1990 and now serves as the holding company and strategic coordinator for all Quaestor affiliate companies and divisions. Quaestor Securities was founded in 1993. It has built a nationwide branch network since incorporated. With more than 300 employees in 16 branches throughout the country, the Quaestor Group offers a wide array of services to over 50,000 corporate and individual customers.
 
In addition to its Hungarian office network, Quaestor has established European subsidiaries in Austria, Slovakia, and Slovenia, as well as overseas affiliates in the United States and Hong Kong.
 
Quaestor has become a member of the Budapest Stock Exchange since 1993. Its stock has been quoted since March 11, 1993.
