Checkmarx Joins German Cyber Security Council. This exciting new membership approval was delivered by key council member, General Secretary of the Council Mr. Hans-Wilhelm Dünn, at the 2016 HLS & Cyber Conference, which took place mid-November in Tel Aviv, Israel.
The German Cyber Security Council was founded in 2012 by a group of renowned security experts and thought leaders. The organization aims to increase collaboration between politics, public administration, businesses and academia for the purpose of protecting IT infrastructure, establishing methods to improve cybersecurity awareness, and developing a nationwide cybersecurity network both in Europe and around the world. The association has a diverse membership base consisting of over 2 million employees from the German economy across large and medium-sized enterprises, critical infrastructure operators, numerous federal states, experts and political decision-makers.
