- WHITENIFE founded by Sonia Agarwal Bajaj, leads the fast-growing gifting industry, with it’s new technology platform that not only showcases over 500+ eco-friendly & socially empowering gifts suitable for all special occasions but pledges to Make Gifting Easy.
- The platform provides holistic gifting solutions, thus making it a one-stop-shop for corporate & wedding gifting.
Although the size of India’s gifting market is estimated at USD 30 billion, according to IamWire, it is fragmented & unorganized. The industry is crowded with thousands of SME vendors that house few product categories & cater to a limited price range. This results in corporates & wedding families to source, sample & coordinate with multiple vendors to meet their requirements.
Considering the growing gap in the industry, WHITENIFE has launched the world’s largest Ethical Gifting portfolio in June 2016. Building on this, WHITENIFE is taking 500+ eco-friendly & socially empowering gifts online this May, making it India’s first online platform to allow its customers to browse and shortlist from such a wide offering of ethical gifting options. Alongside this, WHITENIFE makes it possible for customers to get instant quotations for various bulk quantities & request for product samples online.
WHITENIFE aims to use the power of gifting to empower communities and conserve the environment by promoting the concept of ethical gifting. Associated with 65+ brands & NGOs WHITENIFE extends its support to a spectrum of socio-environmental causes such as education, women empowerment, animal cruelty, fight against hunger, environmental degradation, water pollution, social development & disease control.
In order to make ‘being responsible reasonable’, of the 500+ gifting options available, 150 are priced under INR 500. It hopes that this will encourage corporates to activate their CSR initiatives. The newly unveiled platform of WHITENIFE aptly caters to the growing demands of the conscious customers and showcases a diverse catalogue supporting a plethora of causes, in the price range of INR 50 - INR 35,000. This makes it possible for large entities that engage in tier gifting, to centralize their sourcing for gifts.
Although a young player in the industry, its client list includes large corporate giants & leading wedding planners. WHITENIFE brings together unique and tasteful gifts for making the big fat weddings bigger. It holds many options for announcement gifts, thank you gifts, mehendi giveaways and Tilak ceremonies. Similarly, it houses gifts for various corporate occasions such as Diwali gifting for employees, partners & senior management, dealer and retailer conferences, speaker mementos, annual events, customer loyalty programs & company marathons.
Some of WHITENIFE’s best selling products include, luxury eco-friendly candles, gourmet edibles like chocolate coated almonds, BBQ flavored Makhana and cruelty-free honey, laptop bags made with recycled PET bottles, jute & vegan fashion accessories, seed pens, eco-friendly stationary and desk organizers, assorted herbal teas, space inspired scarves, gota jewelry, chemical-free fragrances & silver plated artifacts. It is constantly expanding its product range to adapt to the new gifting trends and innovation.
The platform is a one-stop-shop for gifts for weddings & corporates that are drawn towards innovation and social welfare. “We vision to create a world of ethical gifts that are affordable, convenient & the future of the gifting industry,” says Ms. Sonia Agarwal Bajaj, CEO & Founder of WHITENIFE.
With 4G, the Internet penetration is deepening in India, which will significantly alter the dynamics of the gifting industry. WHITENIFE pioneers with its advance platform that engages in dynamic pricing for its various gifting options online, making it possible for its customers to get a discounted price for their bulk quantity without having to wait for a company representative to get in touch with them. In an era of personalization, 90% of the products under the umbrella of WHITENIFE offer various forms of branding and personalization. WHITENIFE has made its mark with this revamped platform, which will allow customers, for the first time ever, to have the advantage of requesting for samples online before making a bulk purchase. In addition to that, the sampling cost gets waived off once the order has been placed.
According to Sonia Agarwal Bajaj, “We believe that gifts should be a reflection of a family’s and/or company’s philosophy and an extension of their brand communication. Currently, the gifting industry is very chaotic, we aim to make gifting easy and convenient for our customers. Moreover, the platform blends sustainability, creative design, technology and innovation to provide gifting solutions that will transform the world of gifting.”
The company was found in late 2012, by Ms. Sonia Agarwal Bajaj, to work with innovative, animal friendly materials. In 2013, WHITENIFE introduced, Elfh, a patented, PeTA certified, mineral based composite that was 89% close to genuine elephant ivory. It worked with national award winning artisans in India to craft Elfh jewellery and artefacts. In 2014 it has the honor to design the crown for Miss World Australia. In 2015, Ms. Sonia Agarwal decided to extend its support to other rising socio-environmental problems and grew to become Asia’s first and largest curated marketplace for ethical fashion goods. We believe that the fashion enthusiasts are gradually evolving to understand the importance of sustainable fashion and appreciate the WHITENIFE platform where fashion meets sustainability.
