Lehrte, April 12, 2018 - HELMA Eigenheimbau AG, specialist for individual solid construction houses and sustainable energy concepts, has today published its 2017 annual report in which it confirms the preliminary results that it announced in a corporate news release on March 15, 2018. Along with an in-depth presentation of business trends, the annual report also includes a detailed explanation of the individual Group companies' medium-term revenue potential.

While a medium-term revenue potential of more than EUR 100 million per year is anticipated in the building services business of HELMA Eigenheimbau AG - which does not require own land plots - the potential of the subsidiaries active in the property development business is defined by the project land plots already secured.

The current land plot pipeline of HELMA Wohnungsbau GmbH and HELMA Ferienimmobilien GmbH offers the opportunity to construct a total of around 3,000 units. This generates potential revenue of around EUR 1.2 billion, most of which can be realised within the next five years. The company also plans to acquire further attractive land plots with the objective of profitable business expansion.

Based on the continued positive business trend in the 2017 financial year, the company is planning to increase its dividend by around 27 % to EUR 1.40 per share. After approving the separate annual financial statements of HELMA Eigenheimbau AG as of December 31, 2017, and the consolidated financial statements as of December 31, 2017, the Supervisory Board at its meeting on March 28, 2018 gave its assent to the proposal recommended by the Management Board that the Shareholders' General Meeting to be held on July 6, 2018, approve payment of a EUR 1.40 dividend per share (previous year: EUR 1.10).

The dividend policy of HELMA Eigenheimbau AG is oriented to a high degree of continuity and therefore envisages a future payout rate from 25 % up to 50 % based on the net income generated by the parent company.
