GK Software - Turnover increases by 30 percent during Q1
According to provisional figures, GK Software AG was able to significantly exceed its turnover for the previous year of EUR 15.44 million - by approx. 30 percent; the figure for the first quarter of 2017 was EUR 20.12 million. This development was primarily achieved by a large rise in the company's software development business and an increase in maintenance turnover. Although the first quarter was still characterised by a low contribution from the licence business, as is normal at this time of the year, EBITDA at EUR 1.0 million were significantly higher than the previous year's figure of EUR (0.48) million. EBIT too at EUR 0.17 million exceeded the previous year's figure of EUR (1.47) million to a substantial degree.
Based on these results and the sales opportunities for the rest of the financial year, the Management Board continues to expect the company to be able to increase its turnover in comparison with the previous year in line with expectations; and it is standing by its forecast for the year 2017 and the medium term, as published in the financial statement for 2016.
The Q1 statement will probably be published on 30 May.
