On September 20, 2026, CXMT Corporation said its fifth-generation technology platform had entered mass production, according to Reuters.

G5 platform advances

CXMT said the platform reduced the spacing of key features in its memory array to 11.95 nanometers. The company also said the platform can produce at least 50 percent more gross chip dies per wafer than its fourth-generation platform, using an 8-gigabit-chip baseline, Reuters reported.

New mobile-memory products

CXMT also unveiled two 24-gigabit LPDDR5X products made on the new platform. The company said each product holds 50 percent more data than its previous equivalent products and that both are already in mass production, Reuters reported.
