Herzogenrath, Germany, October 24, 2017 - AIXTRON SE (FSE: AIXA), one of the world's leading providers of deposition equipment to the semiconductor industry, announced today that the investigation by the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States ("CFIUS") of the sale of AIXTRON's ALD and CVD memory product line to Eugene Technology (South Korea) resulted in a determination that there are no unresolved U.S. national security concerns from CFIUS' perspective.
As a consequence thereof, CFIUS approved the transaction.
Management expects the transaction to be closed in 2017.
