The Awards honored outstanding female legal stars and the law firms that have made an outstanding contribution to gender diversity awareness and to the mentoring of women lawyers.

Four Sidley partners also were shortlisted for Awards which reflected women?s achievements in their chosen practice areas. The nominated Sidley partners were: Sara B. Brody ? Litigator of the Year; Connie M. Friesen ? Regulatory Lawyer of the Year; Cathy M. Kaplan ? Finance Lawyer of the Year; and Allison J. Satyr ? Up and Coming Finance Lawyer of the Year.
