Majescor, through its strategic partnership with SIMACT Alliance Copper Gold Inc., is participating in the development of the SOMINE gold and copper property with excellent discovery potential, located in the North-East mineral district of the Republic of Haiti. The SOMINE property lies within a highly prospective volcanic arc environment, host to numerous epithermal gold and porphyry copper occurrences in Haiti, as well as the World-Class Pueblo Viejo gold deposit in the adjacent Dominican Republic.

The SOMINE property hosts two historical copper prospects (Douvray and Blondin), and a historical gold prospect (Faille-B), together with a series of newly discovered copper-gold showings and soil copper anomalies. Not only does the SOMINE Property contain three historical copper and gold occurrences, the mineral rights of which are secured under a mining convention with the State, but it is surrounded by ground recently acquired by Eurasian Minerals Inc. and partner Newmont Ventures Ltd.

Last week, the company announced the results from the final five drill holes at its Douvray copper-gold project in Northeast Haiti. All five holes intersected significant enrichments of silver within the supergene oxide zone.

Highlights of these results included 255 grams per tonne silver over 13.5 metres from surface in the supergene oxide zone of Hole D-002, along with 0.35% copper and 0.02 grams per tonne gold. This intercept included 2,069 grams per tonne silver, 0.52% copper and 0.04 grams per tonne gold from a 1.5 metre intercept just 6 metres from surface.

At Hole D-004, located 359 metres northwest of Hole D-002, the company reported 277 grams per silver, 0.18% copper and 0.04 grams per tonne gold, again within a 13.5 metre intercept starting at surface. And at Hole D-005, 440 metres northwest of Hole D-002, a 213 metre intercept starting a just 25 metres below surface, returned 0.60% copper, along with 0.88 grams per tonne silver and 0.08 grams per tonne gold.

The company also announce a private placement led by Majescor Partners Inc. of up to twelve million units at a price of $0.25 per unit for gross proceeds of a minimum of $2,000,000. Each unit will consist of one common share in the capital of Majescor and one-half of one common share purchase warrant.  Each whole warrant will entitle the holder thereof to purchase one additional common share at a price of $0.40 per share. The warrants will expire twenty-four months from the date of issue. The offering is expected to close on, or about Feb 29, 2012.
