Huenenberg, July 15th, 2008. Trans Atlantic Metals AG (Frankfurt Stock
Exchange: WKN: A0MQR9), an uranium exploration company located in
Switzerland which posesses exploration licenses for four properties in
Northern Sweden, is pleased to announce that it has started its drilling
program on the 'Labbas' property in northern Sweden last week. This new
drilling program has been started only 4 m away from the former drill hole
to verify if and to what extent the former drilling results correspond with
today's results.

Next week the drilling programm on the property 'Björklund' (northern
Sweden) will be carried forward.

Trans Atlantic Metals AG, located in Switzerland, is a raw material
exploration company which possesses exploration licenses for several
properties with uranium and other noble metal deposits in North- and
Mid-Sweden and plans the mining of the existing deposits.
