Regional Court Munich I prohibits Deutsche Telekom AG from disseminating the press release of 7 November 2011

The Regional Court Munich I today prohibited Deutsche Telekom AG by way of a preliminary injunction from disseminating its press release of 7 November 2011. In such press release, Drillisch AG is accused of commission fraud by activating fictitious customers. By filing the application for the preliminary injunction, the Regional Court Munich I was also made aware of the criminal complaint filed by Deutsche Telekom AG against Drillisch AG on 7 November 2011.

Yesterday, the Public Prosecutor's Office already announced investigations being initiated against Dr. Manfred Balz, Board member of Deutsche Telekom AG, for market manipulation (Sec. 20a WpHG (German Securities Trading Act)) after Drillisch AG's lawyer had suggested to the Public Prosecutor's Office by letter of 8 November 2011 that such provision may have been violated (see also our ad-hoc announcement of 28 November 2011).
