DGAP-News: Constantia Packaging opts for Computershare Governance Services' entity management solution

24 November 2009 - The corporate group Constantia Packaging AG will manage its holdings using GEMS SME software from Computershare Governance Services.

GEMS SME (Global Entity Management System Small and Medium Market) is a special version of the established GEMS software from Computershare, geared towards small and medium-sized enterprises. GEMS SME essentially concentrates on the core functionalities of GEMS such as entity master data management, integrated document management and analysis options, as well as compliance support for regulated fields of application. The system's functionalities can be upgraded at any time with optional modules.

During the evaluation process, the key features that impressed Constantia Packaging about the system were its user friendliness, the fact that user input can be flexibly configured and its integrated document management approach. During the installation process, the existing standard solution will be replaced by GEMS SME. In order to be able to handle installations and updates smoothly in the future, the entire technological infrastructure is made available by Computershare's data centre. This means that the customer no longer has to coordinate IT activities internally and that the highest level of efficiency can be achieved.

Constantia Packaging is the first Austrian company to install GEMS SME.
