December 2011 monthly figures

652,368 orders executed in the B2C business line

Quickborn, 6 January 2012. At the end of December, the total number of customers in the comdirect group stood at 2,630,525 (November: 2,579,913). The number of custody accounts amounted to 1,683,301 (November: 1,696,746) and total assets under custody totalled EUR 41.59bn in December (November: EUR 41.08bn).

In the B2C business line (comdirect bank), 652,368 orders were executed (November: 813,036). The number of customers in December stood at 1,632,467 (November: 1,625,911). At the end of December, the number of custody accounts amounted to 783,616 (November: 781,323). The number of current accounts rose to 774,518 (November: 764,879) and the number of Tagesgeld PLUS ('call money PLUS') accounts climbed to 1,235,770 (November: 1,227,535). Assets under custody in December amounted to EUR 24.90bn (November: EUR 24.77bn). Of this figure, EUR 14.32bn is attributable to portfolio volume (November: EUR 14.29bn) and EUR 10.57bn to deposit volume (November: EUR 10.48bn).

In the B2B business line (ebase), the number of customers stood at 998,058 in December (November: 954,002). Assets under custody in December amounted to EUR 16.69bn (November: EUR 16.31bn).
