Modern Luxury Home, Minnesota, U.S.A.This home is located on a prominent site, yet the high-profile client desired extensive privacy. The limestone-clad exterior gives the home a fortified feeling, yet the house embodies a warm interior material palette and carefully-framed views of the surrounding landscape. The 40 geothermal wells that control temperature in the house and pool, the green roof, and the custom operable windows for cross-ventilation further the home's connection with nature.

Coastal Island Villas, Dubai, U.A.E.Charles R. Stinson, AIA, was selected among seven top architects from around the world to design a series of luxury villas for a new set of man-made islands off the coast of Dubai, U.A.E. Each Stinson villa is meticulously composed to create light-filled spaces and is finished with materials that provide residents a feeling of warmth and comfort. The villas range in size from 3,000 to 25,000 square feet.
