They also will provide insights on overall utility and customer readiness, electric vehicle expertise, customer service, impacts on the power grid, and related costs. | |

| BACKGROUND: | SCE has launched a corporate-wide electric vehicle readiness effort focused on customer adoption of PEVs. Based on a survey of leading forecasts, SCE estimates approximately 100,000 PEVs will be in its service territory by 2015 and 400,000 by 2020. And those estimates could double if gasoline prices increase and/or the price of PEVs drop. | |
